LexJet Sunset Reserve Matte Canvas is a poly/cotton blend with a bright-white finish that is slightly more textured and slightly less bright than LexJet's popular Sunset Select Matte Canvas. This versatile canvas can be used in a variety of fine art, photographic and commercial graphics applications including gallery and museum wraps, fine art photography and portraiture, fine art reproductions, corporate office and lobby art and high-end retail and Main Street decor.

The canvas was developed to provide a consistent imaging surface with a high white point that produces a wide color gamut on a bright white surface. It is compatible with a range of protective coatings (spray and roll-on) and works especially well with LexJet Sunset Coatings.

Finishing/Post ProcessingNo post processing or finishing is required on this paper, however, a clear fixative, such as LexJet Sunset Coatings, may be applied to enhance certain areas of the print.
Software SettingsThe coating on this product is engineered for better than 300% ink coverage. A photo luster, satin or semi-gloss setting is the recommended starting point. However, we recommend a custom ICC profile for optimal results. Please refer to LexJet.com for starting-point ICC profiles for some printers.
Light FastnessThe fading time of ink jet ink is a direct result of the inks that you choose, as well as the environment where the print is displayed. All dye-based inks fade noticeably under direct sunlight and in interior applications where direct sunlight may fall on the image, and/or, where fluorescent or other UV lighting is present. Although the fading process is inherent in all ink jet inks, certain UV enhanced inks, pigment-based inks, and UV inhibiting coatings will extend the longevity of ink color. Contact the ink manufacturer to determine a specific ink's suitability for a particular application.
Optimal Print Environment66-77° F , 20-60% R.H
Handling RecommendationsDue to the absorptive nature of the coating, you should avoid touching the coated surface. It's always recommended that cotton gloves be used when handling inkjet coated materials. Rolls of LexJet film are supplied with the coated side facing out.
Ideal Storage Conditions70° F (21° C), 50% R.H. (a controlled environment is recommended); store in original packaging.
Shelf Life1 year from the LexJet ship date when stored in proper conditions.
